Film project for Holocaust Memorial Day    11 October, 2016

Screen Northants are looking for Northampton residents, focusing on those under 25yrs and 55yrs+, to work with a professional film crew to come up with the idea, plan and film the short film ready for it to premiere at the Council’s civic event at the Guildhall in January to mark HMD 2017.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘How Can Life Go On?’ and we’d like to make a positive, contemporary drama short film which represents Northampton’s feelings on this topic. No experience of film is necessary – we just want people who are keen to be involved!

We plan to meet twice a month from October one evening in Northampton, filming in December/January, most likely over a weekend. You do not need to be able to attend every session but the more involved in the planning you are, the more involved you’ll be in the filming.

Dates confirmed so far:

Wed 12 Oct 6pm in Screen Northants, Grosvenor Centre (see below for address)

Tue 25 Oct (half term) 1.30pm Godwin Room, Guildhall, St Giles Square, NN1 1DE

Wed 9 Nov 6pm in Screen Northants, Grosvenor Centre

If you are interested in taking part, email info@screennorthants.co.uk or text/call Becky Adams on 07930 646721 or drop in a note to Screen Northants, 35 Princes Walk in the Grosvenor Centre (opposite Deichmann shoes upstairs).

You must be a Northampton resident to take part and we will prioritise our target groups of those Under 25yrs and those 55yrs+ but we welcome interest from people outside these ages.
