Hardingstone is a village on the South Eastern side of Northampton and lies within the Northampton Borough Council boundary. in 2017 there are approximately 1000 dwellings. This number is likely to double in future as outline planning permission has been granted.
There is a church, Primary Academy, Girls High School, Village Hall and 2 community rooms and allotments. There is a bus service to the town centre, 2 pubs, a Post office, local shop, pet food store, haridressers and beauty salons.
There are several organisations and groups including Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. There are pre-school and after school sessions. There is a Dance Academy, Drama Group, Friends of Hardingstone, Wine Circle, Neighbourhood Watch, a cricket club and meetings for senior citizens. The Paish Council and clerk occupy the Parish Room.
